I have been a patron of the G&F for over 10 years. I cannot say enough nice things about Dana and her staff. While the Firkin is a "chain" establishment, this one feels like a genuine local pub. Which of course it is. :) Food is top notch as far as pub fare goes and the entertainment is always fun. Keep up the great work Dana and team! It is appreciated. JB

Great little pub for beer and snack food.

Enjoy the stop, only issue is the fact the bathrooms are in the basement and I have a handicap making stairs a problem.Always enjoy the food here and the service is great as you are treated as a friend coming to visit nit a stranger.

We almost passed right by, but the server saw us checking out the menu and invited us in! I wanted a vegetarian wrap and they totally went above and beyond to accommodate me. Great vibes and awesome margaritas.

We met with friends at this restaurant for a meeting. This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend. Well, it was very nice. the staff were so friendly and we had a fantastic feeling. The meal was tasty. We enjoyed every moment and we will definitely return to this restaurant. Warmly recommended.

9th anniversary of our first date at the Gull and Firkin. Great staff(Danna owner and Sydney) good food and fun atmosphere!

Went for a walk along Queen street and stopped by with my family for lunch. Waitress on Sunday March 8 was awesome wish I got her name. Answered all out questions and provided menu suggestions. Three of us had the Firkin burger and fries, My daughter and husband order the veggie burger. They got it topped with the regular toppings. Drinks were awesome, we had the berry mojito, red wine sangria and a wine spritzer with beer. Food was excellent service great and in the summer they look like they have an awesome patio

Visiting Toronto from Accra,Ghana and wanted to sit and relax somewhere on Friday the 4th October. Just few steps from my accommodation I saw this place and heard the music instrument play. I was like I get to enter here and I am so glad I did. My server was absolutely fantastic. She helped suggested options of drinks and she was checking on me like every 30 minutes. The live band music was incredible. I learn they do live music first Friday of every month. I loved everything and highly recommend this place.

There's something about walking into a local pub that is brimming with character and full of characters. The staff are friendly and helpful, the food is good (it's a firkin but they are always aiming to improve) the beer is cold and they have a fun overall community spirit. Loving the trivia night on Mondays.

Great pub, lots of friendly locals and in a great spot. Sports is pretty big in here, so great if you're a fan of any sport.

I enjoyed stopping into this little place. I just wished that they kept their patio open longer as the summer it stays lighter out, later.
